They are thoughts that can change everything about how you experience the rest of the day, if not the rest of your life. P&A

Pain & Aging

A hardback book with Brad Brown's reflections on the subjects of pain and aging, together with illustrations, photographs and contributions from MTL students. Brad's words are at times provocative, at times reassuring. Joleen Sheehan, whose paintings are included throughout the book, wrote: "I was especially moved by the deep, painful, and beautiful truths that have been lived and expressed so eloquently, and the courage that is shown."

T Me

I Think My Mind Is Tricking Me

Joshua wants his mother to take him to play at David's house. Her mind is made up: she is too busy to go. Josh's mind is also made up: the path that leads to David's house is too scary to go on his own. But what if someone's mind was tricking them? Joshua Whitten was five when he had the idea for this book, based on the themes his father Roy was teaching. They wrote it together, illustrated with watercolours by Paul Demeyer.

Lion

I Am a Lion

In his version of the traditional Sufi fable, Brad Brown tells the story of a lion cub who is brought up by a group of sheep. He lives his life as if he really was a sheep, until an encounter with another lion confronts him with his true identity. Now the young lion must learn to balance his strength and power with respect for the world around him. A beautiful hardback book illustrated with watercolours by Norman Remer.
